Eurasian Media Forum seeks for volunteers

The 8th Eurasian Media Forum will take place in Almaty  on April 23-24, 2009
Volunteers will be recruited on a competitive basis.

    The scope of responsibilities of the Group of volunteers includes, but is not limited to:
- assisting with preparation of conference documents, hand-out materials, bags, etc.
- accompanying/assisting Forum guests
- working with journalists at the Conference Press Centre
- registration of delegates
- meeting delegates at the airport, assistance with visa/customs control procedures
- assisting Producers during conference sessions (handling microphones, technical control)
           
    Requirements to candidates:
- Fluent English
- Strong communication skills
- Good general understanding of today’s international situation and development tendencies
- Knowledge of the history, culture, traditions and contemporary role of Kazakhstan in the world community
- Highly responsible
- Ready to work under pressure and late hours
