Message from the Chairman of the Russian State Duma (Parliament) Boris Grizlov

I welcome the organisers and the participants of the fifth jubilee Eurasian Media Forum!
Over the five years the Forum has created an environment that facilitates constructive discussion of the most important economic and geopolitical issues and a proactive dialogue between scientists, experts, politicians and journalists.

The Forum has been supporting the establishment of international contacts, the exchange of experiences in developing the media and strengthening of a common media market in Eurasia. Issues relevant to the peoples of our countries are addressed and an agreed stand on them is taken at the Eurasian Media Forum.

Thanks to the effective work of the Forum, more and more individuals with a special interest in the items on the agenda are attending it. This is evidence of the increasingly growing significance of the Forum, the relevance of its debates and the effectiveness of the interaction between its delegates.
I wish all the participants and the organisers of the Forum productive work and further success!
