Nikolai Bordyuzha
I would like to welcome the attendees and the organisers of the 4th Eurasian Media Forum on behalf of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation.
You’ve found a successful form of self-organisation of the media, non-government, political and expert organisations from across the world to comprehensively discuss the most relevant issues which are increasingly concerning mankind in this time of globalisation. They include the increasing threat of international terrorism, drug dealings, political and religious extremism, as well as related transnational organised crime.
The Forum contributes to develop open dialogue, strengthen understanding and trust in Eurasia, and supports consolidation of the media and the civil society in overcoming current challenges and threats.
I am confident that the outcome of the Forum will promote further action and encourage its attendees to unite to combat the fatal threats to mankind, life and the creative efforts of millions of people.
I wish the attendees and the organisers of the 4th Eurasian Media Forum successful and result-yielding work.
