CNBC is delighted to have a presence at the Eurasian Media Forum which has already carved a date for itself in the media calendar of events.
Globalization has put heavy responsibilities on Media Reporting. The past year has been a watershed in our history and this Forum has put forward a thought provoking agenda. Conflicts in various parts of the world, regions in transition and the Media industry in general are undergoing rapid change in an ever-changing political and economic environment.
I congratulate Kazakhstan for holding this Media Forum and am sure that the discussions held will be stimulating and will chart the way forward for a better understanding of issues facing the world of Media.
