I am delighted that the Eurasia Media Forum continues to grow in stature and AP International are proud to be associated with an event such as this that takes a different perspective on media issues of importance on the current global news agenda. Rapid change is a constant feature of the news that AP reports worldwide and this Forum is a welcome opportunity to take stock of the implications of what is happening all around us each day. Well informed debate and objective discussion of influential media issues will benefit all who are both gathering news and commenting on it at a time when the media has a critical role in the reporting of ever less predictable world events.
