The convening of the Eurasia Media forum in the hospitable Kazakhstani nation is becoming a wonderful international tradition. Indeed it is rather symbolic that the Republic of Kazakhstan is hosting this prestigious forum as the country is located in the very heart of Eurasia, at the cross-section of two great civilizations. I am confident that this meeting of leading journalists, business representatives, academics and politicians will promote cooperation between media communities of the Eurasian continent and will provide a new impetus to the dialogue between East and West.

I wish all the participants, guests and organizers of the Second Eurasian Media Forum experience a fruitful collaboration, creative debates and interesting meetings!
