Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

We believe that today when our planet is facing so much trouble, promoting dialogue between peoples, nations, cultures and governments is the only way to achieve global peace and accord. We, the world mass media, have to play the major role in this process, so our interaction on the hospitable Kazakhstani land is not simply a meeting of colleagues from various parts of the world, but also an important platform for the open exchange of diverse ideas and views on these vital issues.

The goals and objectives of the Forum are very close to us, as today "Moskovskyi Komsomolets" is distributed throughout three continents, in more than 50 countries of the world.

I am delighted to greet organizers and participants of the Second Eurasian Media Forum, and I hope that our annual gatherings will become a good tradition!
