Born in Lebanon, graduated from the Lebanese Military Academy. General Jaber has attended several military schools both in Lebanon and abroad, as those in France and the US, where he was awarded with diplomas with honors.
In the first decade of his military career, General Jaber served in the Lebanese army as a field officer on different Lebanese territories. In 1974, he was promoted to the grade of captain when he was appointed Spokesmen within a so-called “civil wars” in Lebanon, acting as a mediator and liaison officer between the two parties based on his background, experience, trust and neutrality.
