Eurasian Media Forum Organizing Committee

Strategic direction of EAMF is provided by The EAMF Organizing Committee chaired by Dariga Nazarbayeva and comprised of the Eurasian Media Forum Almaty, London and Moscow working groups. Among the key functions of the Organizing Committee are the following:

To establish the objectives of the Eurasian Media Forum;
To identify and establish the main topics to be covered by the Conference;
To provide guidance for the key plenary topics and invited speakers;
To ensure that the interests of all involved participants are fully taken into account;
To plan the implementation, balance, coherence and inter-sectorial aspects of the event;
To ensure that the recommendations, the objectives and the international vision of the Forum respect the international media ethics and moral requirements;
To harmonize the work of the main partners involved;
To ensure that the necessary deadlines are respected;
To make suggestions as appropriate that would ensure the success of the Forum.

The Advisory Board

Enables other key stakeholders and interested parties to engage in and help shape the Forum’s activities. This Board, comprising of leading members of the international media community, provides advice and input. Their counsel, insight and expertise on matters of mass media development assists the Organizing Committee in its planning and development activities, and adds significant value and an important perspective to global challenges. In addition, the Forum consults extensively with leaders from international organizations and governments to maximize the relevance of meetings and initiatives for policy-makers. These consultative arrangements are a vital part of the Forum’s commitment to providing a multi-stakeholder platform for dialogue and partnership.
